It’s happened to all of us: you apply a macro and Zendesk provides you with the first part of their email address as the requester’s name. Nobody wants to be referred to as “Hello BJacobs!” especially when your real name is in your email signature. It’s a dead giveaway that somebody is using an automation and it makes the requester feel like they’re talking to a machine.
The solution is to keep the End-User data in your Zendesk constantly up-to-date. While this may sound simple enough, it used to involve several extra clicks and new windows, just to get everything updated.
