Integrate Asset Panda with Zendesk


The Asset Panda integration with Zendesk allows you to see the records for your fixed assets, employees, locations, work orders, etc. inside your Zendesk application. Quickly find and reference assets related to support tickets and update asset records through the integration. Use customizable filter settings in the app to identify specific data. To install the Asset Panda app within the Zendesk application navigate to and search for Asset Panda then click on the app's icon to view the info page. From here you will click the install button. Navigate back to your home page and open a ticket. The Asset Panda app should load on the right hand side you'll need to provide your Asset Panda credentials here. Select ‘Entities’ at the bottom of the app screen and select what type of records you'll want the search to return. Then, click on ‘Settings’ to select the filters field from Zendesk that matches the values from a field in Asset Panda. For example, if you want to see the asset related to the ticket, you would need to first ensure that the identifying information (the Asset Tag or ID) is a field in Zendesk and then select that field as my filter in the Asset Panda app. Click on Search Results to save your settings and return the desired information. When clicking on the record in the app it will open Asset Panda in a new browser window and allow you to update records accordingly.
