The channel works by connecting to your Instagram for Business account and pulling your posts into Zendesk Support as tickets. From here you can handle the conversations just like you would with tickets from other channels, like e-mail.
You can reply to your customers from Zendesk Support directly into Instagram. You can apply macros, set ticket status, and assign to your agents, just like any other ticket.

The Instagram Channel requires your Instagram account to be an Instagram for Business account, connected to your Facebook company page.
- Install the Instagram Channel from Marketplace
- Go to 'Channel integrations' in you Zendesk settings
- Add account
- Sign in to your with Facebook login
- Choose the account you want to connect to
- That's it!
