This app adds call control of your Swyx extension in your Zendesk application.

Available only to agents with “Talk - Partner Edition” seats (see zendesk.com/talk/pricing ).” Ringdesk for Swyx enables full call control of your Swyx Client integrated in your Zendesk account. It enables you to work smart and efficient. It will help you to improve the speed of handling phone calls and it will lower your administration time. Also this App will add call detail information to the ticket and therefore improve your administration and handling history in a clear and transparent way.

App requirements

You need to have a working SwyxIt! Softclient installed and logged on in USB mode or in CTI mode. Also you need to have a Ringdesk user account and the Ringdesk for Swyx application installed on your Windows machine.
You will get a 30 day free trial without any restrictions.

Restrictions

Swyx for Mac and Swyx-Phones without SwyxIt! Client are not supported due to limitations of the Swyx solution.

Implementation step by step

  1. Create an account on https://portal.ringdesk.com;
  2. Select “My PBX” and add a new PBXConnector. Select vendor “Swyx” and press “Create”;
  3. Download the Ringdesk for Swyx application and install it on your PC from https://www.ringdesk.com/downloads;
  4. Login with your Ringdesk account in the Ringdesk application (see system tray);
  5. Install the Ringdesk-Swyx APP in your Zendesk account and login with the same Ringdesk user account;
  6. You should now be able to control your Swyx from the App. Tip: Disable “Popup on ringing” and “Popup when in a call” in the SwyxIt! Client personal preferences when working with Zendesk;
