All The News That’s Fit to Print (For Small Businesses)

Last updated October 7, 2010

The New York Times Small Business section is a great complement to the traditional business page of the newspaper. While the traditional page veers towards finance and large questions like national trade law, this section filters that same news — as well as offer advice and editorials — for small business owners.

Today, the paper introduced “Dashboard”, a new section on its small business blog written by Gene Marks.

I’m going spend the time each week and summarize everything that’s happening that affects my business. I’m going to highlight the best commentary from smart people who will help me understand these events. I’ll add a few of my own comments. This exercise, I hope, will help me run my business better. Perhaps it will help yours, too.

If you own a small business, this first post is definitely worth a read.
