When it comes to the ever-changing mobile market, holding on to the #1 spot for a significant chunk of time is not an easy task.
As TechCrunch reported earlier this week, Android OS has blown everyone’s minds by managing to beat out both Apple’s IOS and RIM for the first time ever in terms of smartphone subscriber share in the U.S.
While Android passed iOS in terms of subscriber share in the previous period, this is the first time the Google-developed OS has unseated RIM from the number one spot.
