Banking Gets Fashion Conscious

pearl necklace Swiss bank UBS thinks issuing its employees a 43-page dress code will enhance their bankers’ image with customers, hoping to regain consumer confidence by encouraging neutral colors and discreet makeup and forbidding visible panty lines and garlic breath. By requiring employees in five test branches to color their roots and choose tie knots that enhance their facial shapes, the bank is hoping to give customers the impression of competence. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
