How to install

To use Planbox inside Zendesk, you must get an initiative’s API token in Planbox:

  1. Log into your Planbox account at Planbox.com.
  2. If you don’t have an initiative yet, create one from the Planbox dashboard.
  3. Under “Items & Tasks” on the top menu, find your initiative and click on its “manage initiative” icon.
  4. Under the Settings section, copy your initiative’s API token.

Once you have your API token, first, log into Zendesk. Navigate to the "Manage" cog, click on "Browse", and click "install" on the Planbox from the apps directory.

Title: Leave it as “Planbox”, or name it after your initiative in Planbox. Initiative API token: Paste the API token you’ve copied from the Planbox Manage Page.

In any Zendesk ticket page, expand the Apps panel on the right to access Planbox. You can now create an item in Planbox from your Zendesk ticket, and attribute it to any project you have access to inside your Planbox initiative.
