Before you install the Helpshift Chat App, make sure that the Zendesk Integration is set up in your Helpshift Account. For detailed instructions, please review our Zendesk Integration Guide.
To install the Helpshift Chat App:
Click the Install button in the upper right corner of the app details page. This will take you to the installation page in Zendesk.
On the installation page, enter your Helpshift domain name (example.helpshift.com).
Next, enter your Helpshift API key. You can find this from the Helpshift Dashboard under ‘Settings ⇢ APIs’. If you need help, please read this support article.
You can limit who sees this app by checking ‘Enable role restrictions’.
Click the Install button.
Once installation is complete, the Helpshift Chat App will be added in the top bar in Zendesk.
