About this app

AttachmentFlow helps Zendesk Support teams move attachments between side conversations and the main ticket without downloading and uploading the files again.

Agents can copy selected supplier or partner files into the main ticket as an internal note. They can also send selected main-ticket attachments to an existing email side conversation. Every transfer is started manually by an authorised agent; AttachmentFlow does not run automatic or background synchronisation.

After a transfer, AttachmentFlow attempts to add an internal audit note. If the files were copied but the audit note fails, the app displays a warning; the copied files remain at the selected destination.

Operation limits

Each transfer supports up to 10 files, up to 20 MB per file, and up to 50 MB in total. Source attachments remain in their original location. Sending attachments from the main ticket requires an existing email side conversation.

Data access and processing

AttachmentFlow uses OAuth to authenticate an installation and access the Zendesk ticket, side-conversation, attachment, recipient, and user information required to display available files and destinations and complete the selected transfer.

Selected attachment content passes temporarily through a Cloudflare Worker so it can be downloaded from Zendesk and uploaded to the selected Zendesk destination. AttachmentFlow does not intentionally retain attachment content after the transfer request completes. It stores the OAuth credentials needed to maintain the authorised connection.

For service reliability and public-beta measurement, AttachmentFlow stores detailed operation events for up to 90 days and aggregated account-level usage summaries for up to 12 months. Records may include a hashed Zendesk-account identifier, first and last use, active UTC days, transfer direction and outcome, file counts, duration, generalised error or warning category, Worker version, beta cohort and date, timestamp, technical request identifier, and monthly or lifetime totals.

Operational telemetry does not store attachment content or filenames.
Operational telemetry does not store ticket content or side-conversation content.
Operational telemetry does not store recipient details, raw Zendesk subdomains, agent emails, agent IDs, or agent hashes.
Operational telemetry does not store Zendesk ticket identifiers or attachment identifiers.
Operational telemetry does not store OAuth credentials or Authorization headers.
