Streams is a CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) adapter that connects Panterra's telephony system with Zendesk, enabling agents to manage inbound and outbound calls directly within the Zendesk interface.

Key Features:- Auto-creates Zendesk tickets on inbound and outbound calls- Automatically links calls to existing open tickets- Displays caller information and ticket history during live calls- Updates tickets with call duration and outcome on hangup- Supports both auto-create and manual ticket selection workflows

Data Handling & Privacy:- Phone numbers of callers are used solely to search for or create Zendesk user records and associate them with support tickets.- Call metadata (call ID, duration, direction, timestamp) is written as private comments on tickets and is never shared with third parties.- Zendesk user IDs are temporarily cached in the browser's localStorage to reduce redundant API calls and are not transmitted externally.- No customer data is stored on our servers beyond standard call logging for support and debugging purposes.- All data handling complies with applicable privacy regulations.

How to install

Getting Started

  1. Login to Zendesk and click Admin icon in the navigation bar.

  2. Under 'Apps' section, select 'Marketplace'. This will redirect you to Zendesk marketplace.

  3. Search 'Streams' in the search bar and select 'Streams' app from search results.

  4. Click Install in the next page that appears.

  5. Select the account from drop-down menu for which you want to install this app and click Install button.

  6. Click Install to finish the installation process.

  7. Once the app is installed successfully, click Streams Phone icon on the top and login to the app.

Note: Only Administrator can install this app.
