Zendesk Wins Russian Fashion Giant Lamoda

The business originally founded by Rocket Internet will run their 250 strong Support Agent team via Zendesk’s cloud based customer service platform

BERLIN/MOSCOW, GERMANY – February 4th, 2014 – The Russian fashion store Lamoda ( from the world’s largest internet incubator, Rocket Internet, now relies on Zendesk, the leading provider of cloud software for better customer service. Up to 250 Lamoda service agents will work with Zendesk simultaneously and Zendesk will be fully integrated with Lamoda’s internal CRM System.

Lamoda was founded in 2011 by Rocket Internet as the Russian equivalent of their successful European fashion retailer Zalando. Lamoda currently sells more than one million products from 900 brands and is visited by one million unique users, generating 20 million page views per month. The website currently covers Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan with plans to expand into neighbouring markets such as Azerbaijan and Belarus.
