Every time we hire someone new here at Zendesk (which has been happening a lot lately), we want them to understand our product as quickly and fully as possible. With each new employee, the onboarding course we take them through gets stronger, clearer, and more effective at doing that.
But of course, it’s not just our employees who want to learn everything they can about Zendesk, our users do too.
To that end, we created a two-day training course for agents and administrators which we will be offering in various cities throughout the coming months. We are hosting our first course in San Francisco next week, June 21st and 22nd.
We still have some slots left if you are going to be in the Bay Area and want to get up-to-speed fast and learn Zendesk’s advanced functionality that will optimize your support team’s workflows. The course is hands-on and includes in-class exercises and help desk best practices.

What we are covering
Youll learn the ins and outs of how to best configure and use Zendesk in your company, including:
- Setting up multi-channel support
- Building and managing your support team in Zendesk
- Advanced branding and customization options
- Optimizing work flow
- The essentials of the support ticket workflow
- Organizing support queues
- Creating and moderating public forums and knowledgebases
Each attendee will receive a copy of all materials presented. The course is co-taught by an internal Zendesk support advocate veteran and professional software trainer. This is the course we use to train all new employees at Zendesk.
As we said, we’ll take this to other cities in the future. Onsite training is also available through our partner CustomWare.
